In Depth: Salford Zine Library

We are pleased to announce the attendance of:

Salford Zine Library was formed in January 2010 and aims to showcase and share creative work in the self-published form. The archive sources work through contacting practitioners, poster campaigns and word of mouth. They currently hold over 1400 publications, selection of which will be shown at our upcoming Book Arts Fayre on 9th October.

What particularly interests me is that there is no curatorship. Craig John Barr and Matthew Walkerdine are the self-publishing artists who run it, and they don’t wish to be arbiters of taste. The library is completely inclusive, working on a donations basis, and they welcome submissions.

To submit your work to Salford Zine Library you can post work to: Salford Zine Library 48 Landos Court, Gunson Street, Manchester M40 7WT Email-
