The deadline for the Dummy Awards at the International Photobook Awards has been extended to the 26th April. All books need to be received at the office by the 28th.
They are calling for the submission of so far unpublished photobooks. All entered dummies will be shown electronically during the festival. The 50 best books will be exhibited. From these 50 titles the winners of the Dummy Award will be chosen. The 1st prize is a complete book production through our partner seltmann+soehne and a presentation in European Photography. The 2nd and 3rd prizes are valuable book productions by our partner Blurb. Special prizes are photobook dummy reviews by schaden.com / White Press.

The Festival is in its 4th year and runs from the 1st-5th June 2011 at documenta-Halle Kassel, Germany. They will also be running exhibitions from people such as Self Publish, Be Happy and Pietro Hugo as well as running lectures and workshops on the theme of photo books.
The London Street Photography Festival deadline has also been extended to the 30th April. With your entry you receive a voucher for Blurb for £28.95 to create your own photo book.
